I keep saying that I've turned into a dormouse. When I'm not working or eating I'm sleeping. I've never slept so much in my life, so I say I've entered 'dormouse mode'.

I thought I'd tie it in with the new competition for :iconclubaceo: and make it wintery.

I thought frost would make it look sinister, so I added frosting with gold pen to give that wintery sparkle..

Ooh how adorable! A dormouse really is something utterly sweet. I somehow love the noises they make when they are angry. XD
I love the brush strokes and the colours in this ACEO. Absolutely pretty. :)

Awe too cute, love that little face and paws! Nice touch with the gold pen, it does give it the winter-like effect :D
Lovely job on the highlights and fur texture as well ^^

That's pretty cute. :) I like the golden yellow colour and the red berry really adds to that wintry feeling.

Sadly, I've never seen a dormouse irl, I've always liked them though :) I imagine making loud indignent squeaking when they're angry though?

I'm a bit sceptical about the fact the nest/straw is the same colour as the body, but in a way I feel it adds to the close cosiness :)

You get many dormice in the Palatinate, Germany. I once went downstairs at night to get a drink from the kitchen as I saw a dormouse sitting on the chair and staring at me when I switched the light on. XD
When they are angry, they sound like a tiny broken engine. lol
And they have almost no claws, their hands are so soft and look like tiny human fingers. They are absolutely sweet!

In German, they are called Siebenschlaefer, which would be translated "seven sleeper" because they sleep seven months in the year. :D
